Nov 12th 2009 11:07AM @Alfred-I believe they are referring to the Turbo Boost in the i7 8xx series of chips the i7 9xx series got the shaft with Turbo Boost. The i7 860 is a base clock of 2.8Ghz, however it has a max Turbo Boost clock of 3.46Ghz. Granted on the i7 9xx series all of the cores go up in speed, but the option of having the chip go significantly faster on a core if a single process needs the speed is a plus in my book.

Nov 11th 2009 2:18PM To be honest I would rather just have a streaming service, like what Netflix has to offer. Granted I would like a better selection to show up on the streaming side, but it sure beats going to somewhere and hanging around a kiosk will data transfers to a SD card.

Nov 10th 2009 1:54PM Obviously they are not copying Apple, this thing can have Blu-Ray, you probably don't need a putty knife to upgrade it, and upgrading it probably isn't expressly forbidden in the users manual. This is everything a Mac Mini wishes it could be.

I wonder how Apple does their market research because I think more than a few people were not happy to see the absence of a camera on the iTouch refresh. However Lord Jobs explained that its a 'gaming platform' and that's why they left out the camera. Evidently Nintendo should drop the camera from the DSi because it has no place on a game system, oh and Microsoft and Sony should stop selling camera add-ons too.
