Sep 24th 2008 1:48PM I just really don't understand how these automakers can lose HUGE amounts of money quarter after quarter and still be in business. It seems like this has been happening for a couple years now at least. Even as big as those companies are, I would think that just a few quarters of $20 billion losses would put them into bankruptcy. Same goes for the airlines, although they've already been in bankruptcy.

Sep 3rd 2008 8:37AM The time for Sony to release this has almost if not already passed them by. If it was going to compete with the current devices, they should have released it a few months ago, with lots of custom panels now coming out for it. As it stands now, it will be competing with next year's devices, and little scroll bars and stylus-requiring menus aren't going to cut it with the likes of next year's HTCs, LGs, and iPhones.

Aug 27th 2008 9:48AM This is more expensive than Apple TV, and Apple TV does do 1080i or 720p, so yea, don't see the point here. Plus Apple TV has all that other functionality of YouTube, buying/renting movies right on the TV, etc.

Aug 26th 2008 10:34AM I agree, this doesn't look like much of an upgrade from the n95, other than more storage. Hopefully this is just holding them over until they come out with something new.
