Dec 31st 2008 3:57PM What if the hacker gets the login information from a database that doesn't contain credit card information, such as whatever system is behind the logins for the online forums?
It seems very likely to me that login and password information is stored separately from billing information, and is much easier to get at. If you were a nefarious person who got access to the login information but not the billing info, what would you do? This myth is definitely not busted.
I think you need to think a little more carefully before writing blog posts like this one.

Aug 18th 2008 3:10PM I think citing guild leadership as evidence of being able to lead a group of people is a fine thing to do, provided the job you're interviewing for requires managing people. An earlier poster linked a Harvard study. IBM has also done an in-depth study on this topic.

If you're planning to use it in an interview, I'd be sure to have copies of these studies handy though. I'm sure you'll need to back up that point with some interviewers.
