Toshiba shows off slate of smartphone prototypes at CEATEC (video) {Engadget}

Oct 8th 2009 12:01AM @glenskey - MS and Toshiba are partners... along with LG, Sharp, HTC, Samsung, etc etc. All these form factors and diffrent manufacturers is *just one* reason why WinMo sells a LOT per month around the *world*

HTC Leo caught on video demonstrating its multitouch display {Engadget}

Sep 16th 2009 8:28PM WM6.5 fixes the 64K colour limitation... Remember though, the picture might be 24bit but there are not many 'small screens' that can display a full 24bit.

HTC Leo caught on video demonstrating its multitouch display {Engadget}

Sep 16th 2009 8:21PM Pika2000 & others...

WM does support capactive and multi-touch and pretty much anything else you want... you just need to add the driver for it.

I really can't believe the stupidity of some people that say WM can't do this or that. Add the hardware and the driver... and its supported. Thats what so good about WM.

Its like saying Windows 7 doesn't support a mouse. Well obviously it does but it just needs to add a mouse driver and ta da! :-)

Officially Official: Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni {Autoblog}

Aug 24th 2009 7:49AM Its great to see a great car in Valentino's name... but I'd prefer to see Lamborghini honor Bob Wallace name first.

Microsoft's beta My Phone service for Windows Mobile now free to all {Engadget}

May 19th 2009 4:54AM a WM 2003SE phone?!?! why are you still using something sooooooooooo old??

Windows Mobile 6.5 coming May 11, WM 6.5 phones not so much {Download Squad}

Apr 19th 2009 6:54AM Your screen shots are very old... you should update them to the current WM6.5 look.

Microsoft to push Internet Explorer 8 through automatic update {Download Squad}

Apr 15th 2009 3:17AM You are probably one of the few that are experiencing this problem but I suggest you check out Ed Bott's blog at ZDNet, where he explains this exact issue. In very rare situations, a specific DLL does not register during installation/upgrade which causes IE8 to run like a dog and crash. Honestly.

HTC first quarter earnings fall a not awesome 30 percent {Engadget}

Apr 6th 2009 11:04PM @Wesley - Tell me why you REQUIRE a capacitive screen? really... go on... please I want to know.

I agree about a Tegra based phone... I'd love to have that nVidia prototype right now.

Windows Mobile app store, cloud sync service coming soon {Download Squad}

Jan 24th 2009 6:22AM @Tony2x... I like it when people say this because it just goes to show they do NOT understand what Mesh was all about. Mesh was ONLY a CONCEPT BETA. It is and was nothing else.

Mesh is just the "client beta test" of the Azure platform. Obviously Microsoft is already pretty happy with the success of Mesh BUT they don't need Mesh anymore... because they will be introducing all of their "correct" cloud based "sync" software within the next few months - which will be Azure as the back-end platform (just like Mesh did).

How would you change HTC's Touch Diamond / Pro? {Engadget}

Jan 9th 2009 5:39AM I've got a Touch Pro and I think its definitely the best WM phone I've used to date.

Most of what you folks above me are saying "bigger screen, faster processor, more RAM, longer battery life etc" are all coming this year... oh and that Tegra chip as well... and it'll be running WM7 (which, believe me, you will honestly love!)

;-)
