Coming soon: Invite friends to use Google Voice {Download Squad}

Oct 14th 2009 3:07AM Has Google stopped handing out invites? A couple months ago, I requested an invite directly from the Google Voice page, and I got one a few days later.

How would you change Microsoft's Zune HD? {Engadget}

Oct 10th 2009 1:28AM Things I would like..

- Ability to switch to Zune, MTP, or UMS mode.
- More codec support.
- Bluetooth, for headphones and/or cell phone data tethering.
- Flash Lite support
- Integrated YouTube/music discovery like on the Sony Walkman X.
- SDK for app development, but no "walled garden" like Apple.

Apple seeks to take multitouch where it's never been before in new patent app {Engadget}

Oct 2nd 2009 1:33AM The future is obviously in touchscreen and multi-touch interfaces.

I think now is a good time to invest in a company that makes screen wiping cloths.

LOL.

Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 finally ready for AT&T: $300 on October 4? {Engadget}

Sep 28th 2009 9:54PM Huh? A required $30 a month data plan? Additional $6 fee for "traffic updates, gas prices, white pages, weather, local events and movie listings"? This is such a scam.

It would make more sense to buy a Garmin Nuvi and pay $100 for the lifetime MSN Direct service. And no data plan required either.

Sony's newest digiframe sports Swarovski crystals, little else {Engadget}

Aug 29th 2009 12:56AM Forget the Sony digiframes. Get the Samsung instead. The Samsung frames connect to your PC and can function as an auxiliary monitor. Great for watching TV or movies while you "work".

Both flavors of Garmin-Asus nuvifone coming to AT&T? {Engadget}

Aug 20th 2009 3:09PM I have a strange feeling that ATT will require a data plan for this phone. And not the cheap $15 MediaNet plan. I hope I'm wrong.

Are these iTunes 9 screenshots for real? {Download Squad}

Aug 20th 2009 2:03AM iTunes 9.. Now with 9 times more bloat!

VAIO TT disappears from Sony's US site (update: gone for good) {Engadget}

Aug 19th 2009 10:14PM I really like the Sony T series. It's too bad I can't afford them. LOL.

Canon PowerShot G11 hands-on {Engadget}

Aug 19th 2009 10:12PM I can't wait for more details on the G11. I got the Panasonic LX3 instead of the G10 because I wanted a good fast lens for low light pictures. Unfortunately, that's all the LX3 is good at. It takes mediocre daytime pictures. Auto focusing is slow. Menu and controls aren't as intuitive as Canon's. The manual lens cover is really a buzz kill sometimes. Wide angle lens isn't really a big deal to me. And a few other nit-pick items. If the G11 image quality is a big improvement over the G10, I'm gonna sell my LX3.

Kodak's Zi8 HD pocket camcorder hits the 1080p mark, adds Facebook uploading {Engadget}

Jul 29th 2009 3:05AM "..usual features like face tracking, image stabilization.."

Usual features? What other pocket camcorders have face tracking and image stabilization?

I really like the swivel design on the Sony pocket camcorder, but no image stabilization and MemoryStick are sort of deal killers for me.
