May 6th 2008 3:46PM I'm thinking once they're out in the wild for a while in the European markets, the iPhone will *have* to be sold unlocked to compete with all the other unlocked phones there. Italy and Greece have the TIM cards that you can buy at all the tobacco stands so you can charge up your phone 5 to 50 Euros at a time. The Italianos like their telefonos loosy goosy. I'm sure there will be a lot of "Prontos!" being spoken into Italian iPhones soon!

I could see suing Activision. They'd at least have a level litigious playing field. Suing Walmart, Target, K-Mart, and the rest all together? Might as well bend over and settle this out of court for the nothing you're likely to get Gibson.
There have been actual MIDI/Guitar interfaces out there in the wild for years and years and a lot of those are used for practice as well as playing in actual gigs live.

Feb 22nd 2008 2:45PM Whether or not Sakurai coded it, this should be a "no brainer" on Nintendo's part. I think all of us would grab a SSB-DS game in a second if it came to the market. Crappy or not, this game would sell.

Dec 15th 2007 4:20AM If its just the same PalmOS, then it might be fine to stick with Verizon but I'm thinking that craptastic company will screw with the OS and lock down all the cool stuff. I'm going to Sprint and the Centro in a couple of months. Nothing like firing up a game of Doom or Quake while I'm waiting for the clothes to dry!

Dec 11th 2007 12:50PM We're already seeing it: CrapTV ala Kid Nation. Maybe we can get the kids to write the shows? How bad could that be since most of the stuff on TV is barely watchable anyway and pretty much every movie put out by the big studios is a rehash of a rehash of a once great movie from way back when.
In the same vein as Eric H, I don't know why they haven't tapped the vast resources of fan fiction out here on the Interwebs! Not all of them are stories about Captain Picard doing the nasty with elves.

DS Daily: Regrettable {Joystiq Nintendo}
Dec 7th 2007 7:08PM I know it's old but I bought it this year: Animal Crossing Wild World. Just how much, fishing, planting, digging, watering and plain old talking to losers can one almost 40y/o man take?!? Not much! I pulled out my old school Namco Arcade games and had a blast with DigDug.
I may chance Lego Star Wars and a FinalFantasy game. Oh, and if it ever comes out: Guitar Hero III:DS. I wonder if there will be a tiny controller for this game? Oh please Oh please!
