Nokia switching up strategy to boost US market share {Engadget Mobile}

May 2nd 2008 11:04AM If Apple can push AT&T around and sell its iPhone with no branding on it through them, I don't understand why the largest cell phone company in the world can't do the same, and sell an N95-3 or N95-4 through AT&T. I guess I'm stuck buying unlocked phones...

Garmin Nuvifone hitting AT&T for $500 plus? {Engadget Mobile}

May 1st 2008 10:30AM If this thing has a good chunk of memory, and by good chunk I mean 8GB at least, and assuming it doesn't have any AT&T branding on it like the iPhone, I'd say its worth about $400-450.

Nokia E71 sneaks into the wild once again {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 24th 2008 1:23PM Nice eye evilpaul. Let's see some 3G love from Nokia on this one. I'm gonna be honest here. It doesn't look very wide at all. In fact, if the supposed dimensions of this are correct, its narrower than a Blackjack II. I don't know about the rest of you, but i'm not down with that at all. I liked the fact that the E61i's keyboard was so spacious.

Hands-on with the Sony Ericsson Z750a for AT&T {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 3rd 2008 3:26PM It's about time they replaced the Z525a with something. Too bad it's not that great. When are they going to build a decent feature packed high end clamshell? I do have to applaud them for designing a phone with keys that weren't built for papa smurf finally.

Video: AT&T's Surface makes comparing phones, transmitting illnesses a breeze {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 2nd 2008 11:35PM great idea, but it doesn't look in depth enough for people like me who want to know true specifics, like what kind of bluetooth version it has, whether or not it has A2DP, battery size, stuff like that. But of course I understand why they wouldn't make it that way, and that's because the average person doesn't understand any of that. They should make one for people like me.

Things may be looking brighter for Nokia N96, Xenon flash in the works? {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 31st 2008 2:30AM that 1200mAh battery is looking pretty good right about now. too bad Nokia didn't find a way to fit it into this one.

The Nokia N75 "Tab Top": AT&T gets in on the renaming craze, too {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 9th 2008 5:26PM AT&T is stupid. Not only does the name sound gay, it's probably Active Idle. Some genius must have discovered it finally and came up with this brilliant plan to make this specific device business only and give it A2DP and call it something stupid. Now I really hope they don't get the N95.

A look at AT&T's pipeline, early March 2008 edition {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 2nd 2008 5:43PM For the sake of not ruining the N95, I'm actually hoping they don't do it. I don't want to see another mess like my N75. AT&T ruined the phone, and they'll do the same with the N95. Unless they leave it the heck alone and sell it like the iPhone I say don't bother AT&T. They've done nothing but give Nokia a bad name here in the U.S. by crippling their phones and creating problems with them. It's a real shame.
