Jul 21st 2009 9:30PM I love this game, I love having the Yankees at my home in Red Sox nation and I love this app. But it was skanky of MLB to entice purchases by offering 2-3 games a day, and then cutting it back to 1 to accommodate another class of customer. This app is a short term license; at the end of the season, it's over. For the 2010 season, you will have to buy a new app.
MLB should honor the agreement they made with all customers who purchased a license prior to 7/21 and let us have the games that were part of the price we paid.

How would you change Amazon's Kindle 2? {Engadget}
Mar 28th 2009 8:58AM Did not know that, Plothole. Thanks.
I'm not an engineering type, just a user with dreams and a half-full glass. Just because it doesn't exist today only means we haven't yet figured it out. :)
How would you change Amazon's Kindle 2? {Engadget}
Mar 28th 2009 7:35AM Hardware I would like to see on K3:
- A backlight that could be turned on and off, or was sensitive to ambient lighting, is my #1. I start books on K2, but if I read in bed at night, have to use my iPhone.
- Better contrast.
- A black or other dark casing. White is trendy, but it shows finger prints and other dirt so easily. Plus, some users report using a dark color skin improves the appearance of text contrast. Makes sense -- the eye would blend a white border and light grey ground, while the it would contrast that ground with a dark frame.
Software changes
- Organization: instead of a huge list of books, I'd like to store my library in folders (how to, travel, classics, novels I like, novels I don't like, etc.)
- Improve synchronization between Kindle and the Kindle App: while it syncs perfectly from Kindle to iPhone, the Kindle isn't good at getting to the last page read on the iPhone. You have to type in the location. I love the iPhone app, btw. I am that person who will read a page or two while waiting, and haven't gotten into the 'take your Kindle everywhere' mode yet.
Little tweaks:
- The browser is sooooo 1998 -- ditch it.
- Customizable sleep screens. Even if they were limited to a collection of pictures downloadable from the Kindle store, if someone were staring back at me, I'd rather it were Toni Morrison than Edgar Allen Poe.
And of course, when they release Kindle 3, a trade-in program for existing users.
