Feb 18th 2008 9:51PM getting your phone unlocked is easy.. its the 2 year contract the carrier sticks you with that is a problem; and without those contracts...it would be a very expensive mobile market.

Feb 18th 2008 9:44PM at&t is not losing any money from the unlocked iphones because they're not selling it to customers at a subsidized price, the only people losing money from the iphones is Apple because they are not getting they're cut from at&t for each iphone activated on their network.

Feb 16th 2008 2:01PM First of all, T-Mobile Data costumers still have access to the hotspots, and only at&t dsl customers can use the wi-fi, not wireless. At&t wireless customers still have to cough up $20 extra in addition to any data plan they are paying for to use these hotspots on a monthly basis. T-Mobile 3G is coming out this summer and if you have been paying any attention at all you would see that T-Mobile has been growing rapidly, you would have to be retarded to think that Deutsche Telekom would sell T-Mobile USA which is becoming they're #1 source of revenue; and especially since DT is one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, with nearly 120 million customers worldwide, a lot larger than at&t which is only based in the US.

Details emerge on T-Mobile's Hotspot @Home "Talk Forever" setup {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 15th 2008 5:05PM I just called T-Mobile today and they informed me that this service is launching on February 21st, and it will still be $9.99. That's an amazing price for home phone service that includes all the features such as caller id, call waiting, conference calling, and national long distance! at&t is the cheapest right now where you can get local home service for $20, but it doesn't have long distance. When this launches, I'm ditching at&t first thing.
