How would you change Snow Leopard? {Engadget}

Oct 3rd 2009 2:41AM Good comment, but I'd just like to point out that Windows 7 is available to those with a college email address for $30.

How would you change Snow Leopard? {Engadget}

Oct 3rd 2009 2:35AM The reason Apple is taking the approach they are is because though 64-bit has existed for years now, the market still hasn't adapted to the new architecture. In Windows, 95% of your programs will be running in 32-bit mode, so don't expect a real increase in performance as far as 64-bit goes until developers finally begin to make the switch. Besides, Apple most likely knows what's best for their computers, and they'll make the right changes at the right time. They were really saying that Snow Leopard is truly ready to flawlessly adapt to the 64-bit platform.

New Nintendo DS purportedly confirmed for tomorrow {Engadget}

Oct 1st 2008 4:45PM Clearly, you're mewte to good puns.

Nintoaster mod makes NES games tastier than ever {Engadget}

Sep 9th 2008 10:01PM ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I was in the process of making this! Only with a slightly more 90's toaster. But I had the EXACT same plans - lever as the power switch and everything. And guess what I was going to call it? The Nintoaster. If I just had all the right materials, I would have finished first...gahh!!!

The Engadget Review: Palm Treo Pro {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 29th 2008 7:32PM Even when Palm does finally get their new OS out the door, I think it's already a couple years too late - many developers have already dedicated themselves to iPhone OS X or Android. I'm awfully doubtful of Palm returning to the status they once had in the mobile market. =(

Palm's Treo Pro gets official {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 20th 2008 12:23PM Palm OS is really too outdated by now. It has quite a plethora of apps, but forget about multitasking; not to mention any efficient means of playing multimedia. Windows Mobile is decent in these respects, and not only that, but Palm really needs to ditch Palm OS if they even want to think about Palm OS 2.0 - which they appear to be considering.

More Treo Pro details emerge {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 16th 2008 6:19PM Ah, there isn't really TOO much wasted space. No matter how they configured it, the device would probably be the same size due to insides, not outsides. If anything, all that could be moved is the Treo logo to increase the size of the screen by a fraction of an inch.

Our iPhone 3G cracked, too -- what gives, Apple? {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 10th 2008 7:20PM The cracks probably occur because of something from the inside, though, which would render the Invisible Shield useless. It could be the fluctuating heat from the battery, or even just plugging in the Dock Connector or pressing the power button.
