U.S. Army imitates Apple to attract new recruits {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jun 16th 2008 10:28AM @Mike Lane-

Thanks to the brave men who have served or are serving. I salute you as you are a better man that I. You are a credit to this great nation and you prove to the world our country isn't a bunch of wussy Jetta driving wimps, even in the face of an ugly and cowardly enemy.

To those who point out ever single negative of our armed forces in a vain attempt to criticize the very being of our armed forces to feel better about your self righteous outlook on your apparently small world view, screw you.

That is all.

Sling announces proof-of-concept SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone {Engadget}

Jun 9th 2008 5:54PM Geez. Orb has been able to push out a reasonably well done iPhone client last month and have been tweaking it since.

I cant figure out what is Slings issues about needing Apples cooperation to get a client out.

Dude, the KB software does pretty much everything you need to do to type quickly. I typed 43wpm with that thing and NO misses. Just because you cant feel force feedback, doesnt mean you cant type accurately in a quick manner.

iPhone 2.0 beta gets geotagging? {Engadget Mobile}

May 22nd 2008 11:29AM Why would that be such a hard thing to believe? Geotagging photos is logical for a phone that knows generically where you are even if it doesnt have true GPS.

Apr 28th 2008 2:54PM If this guy is for real, then why would he promote this like he is?

Of course, I doubt he is legit but if you have a good idea that may bankprupt the oil companies, you will likely find yourself a target,

If an inventor was actually street smart and wanted to help mankind rather than his own pocketbook, he would put together all the schematics and plan a genius plan of distributing it across the world via the internet.

Complete with video, instructions and parts lists. Then if said dude gets off'd, his idea lives on.

Verizon sues Time Warner Cable over some dumb ads {Engadget}

Apr 10th 2008 1:33PM what annoys me most about this story is the comments where people keep calling an advertisement an "add"

PWN 2 OWN contest lets hackers choose Vista, OS X or Linux {Engadget}

Mar 27th 2008 4:57PM @Flashpoint

I dont want to make it seem like im picking on your, but dang dude. You don't really have a clue what you are talking about. A hacker will use what ever gets the job done. Be it vista, Ubuntu or Tiger. To paint hackers with such a broad brush saying they are above simple consumer oriented operating systems tells me you watch too much "The Net" and "Matrix". Man.
