How do you decide where to raise your kids? {ParentDish}

Jul 3rd 2006 12:30PM The surrounding environment where you leave can have serious effect on your children. After reading your post I understand your problem. You want to go someplace where you can live near your friends and relatives so that in time of your need they can come.

Jookster {The Social Software Weblog}

Jun 30th 2006 7:53PM "I think Jookster is a great idea, and even if it turns out that it is one of the many startups that will go belly up in this boom, I'm confident that the underlying ideas it embraces will be something that we are using for years to come."
Actually, there are too many social bookmarking websites and applications. We are getting confused. So, the next move is to have a website that will cover them all.

Great Britain gets live TV commercials {AdJab}

Jun 30th 2006 7:49PM "The idea is to get people as interested in what's happening next in the commercials as they are in the program they're watching."
Now reality Ads. God knows what next. You forgot to mention the budget of such ads.

An angel dies every time a blogger mentions a product {AdJab}

Jun 30th 2006 7:46PM " bad bloggers are accepting money from companies when they write about their products"
bad day for blogging.
I visited the link and there found:
"Murphy's approach used to be more ad hoc. He made invitations through e-mail via the BlogStar Network, which he started in 2004. BlogStar paid nicely -- a flat fee of $5 or $10 per post. "Easy money...go buy a burger or something,""
Very bad and I guess it will undermine the image of true bloggers.

Biodiesel causing insurance problems in Australia {Autoblog Green}

Jun 18th 2006 5:06AM "Without regulations and a standard product, insurers are worried about what biodiesel may do to motors. Fuel distributors are worried, too, about liability if their fuel causes damage to someone's engine and the engine manufacturer's do not honor their warranty."
Thanks for the information. It shows that the governments have to be more active in dealing such issues. Biodiesel is becoming a part of the mainstream fuel.

SegSeat helps those who can't stand (on) the Segway {Autoblog Green}

Jun 18th 2006 5:03AM "Hmmm. $749 for a seat? How much does a regular scooter cost again?"
Yes, it is expensive but it is small too. I am sure that it will attract many users after this improvement.

HuffPo gets roadblocked by JWT {AdJab}

Jun 18th 2006 4:56AM I visited the link and I must say that this is another great example of the fact that the days of online ads are near- very near. Ignore it at your own peril.

Funny Fitness One ads {AdJab}

Jun 18th 2006 4:47AM " I like how they seem to be anti-exercise at first, but then have the nice "reveal" at the end. The ads are for Fitness One."
The idea is good but I wonder that many people do not get the joke and misunderstand the theme of the advertisement. Thus it can backfire.

George Soros said to be pouring $200M into Chery export venture {Autoblog}

Jun 18th 2006 4:19AM " Soros' fortune, earned mostly by currency speculation, is estimated at $7B, but we're not aware of any prior investment in automotive ventures."
George Soros is an interesting figure. He made his fortune during the Asian financial crisis and Malaysian Prime Minister of tha time Mahathir bitterly accused him of playing foul. Anyway, George Soros is most of the time a smart and successful investor and it will be very interesting for us to observe how his investment goes in the automobile industry.

Should playgrounds have more "adventure?" {ParentDish}

Jun 17th 2006 10:33AM Well safety is a very important issue for playing ground. The main problem is in America, or other developed countries people sue companies and government officials for even simpler causes. I agree that because of the safety measures the children's park may have become boring but think if any children gets heart and their parent goes to court. Then what will happen?
