Solar Roads get small DoE contract, confidence to change the world {Engadget}

Sep 7th 2009 10:22AM If this comes to NH at all, I'd be surprised because of our winter weather. Between the cold and the snow plows, I'd be pleasantly surprised if the glass material on top held up to this.

On the other hand, the more places this could be expanded to, the better. And the cost figure would be greatly subsidized by utility bills and the sheer fact of economics that as more and more of these would be produced, the lower the cost per unit.

Kensington's iPhone / iPod charging dock throws a mini battery into the mix {Engadget}

Aug 4th 2009 8:05AM Even just having the 3G radio on drains the battery like no tomorrow. And don't get me started on using it...

Apr 14th 2009 11:43PM I'd say the announcement of the latest iPhone OS 3.0 beta I get to play around with tomorrow since I just joined the Apple dev program today.

Aug 22nd 2008 9:05PM If I did get rid of some stuff, I'd sell it and then use the money for something good. What that may be, I have no clue.

Colorizing technology highlights cancerous tissue {Engadget}

Aug 20th 2008 11:26PM I've actually seen this kind of technology live in person. I recall that it was at either NextFest or Digital Life a while ago and it's really cool. Everything's done in real-time and in my particular case, it was a simple scan of my veins.

So, no, it's not a photoshop. It's an actual scan and projection that's shown on the skin in real time.

Dell's Pocket Projector is easy to overlook {Engadget}

Jul 30th 2008 8:57AM The LED operates with a lower amount of heat and takes less electricity. Though more expensive than traditional bulbs, generally speaking, Dell picked the better of the two for their projector.
