iRobot creates new business unit for healthcare robotics {Engadget}
Nov 5th 2009 10:36PM Like I said the only viable profession in the future will be to become a scum bag lawyer. I pretty sure the robots will need to carry malpractice insurance as well.

Jabra Stone to bring 'new shape' to Bluetooth headset field {Engadget}
Sep 23rd 2009 5:59PM AT&T stores have gotten a few promo units for managers. The basic shape is a bit bulbous however the cool thing is that it rests on a transductive stone allowing it to charge. just go into any AT&T store and ask them to see the banner for it where the Plantronic units sits now and they will bring it out and you will see a full res photo of the stone.

AT&T's 3G MicroCell does unlimited calling, but it ain't cheap {Engadget}
Sep 20th 2009 8:31PM The greatest thing about this country is how anyone can become rich. We shareholders of AT&T and countless other companies love that we control the customer experience. Sometimes good mostly bad for the customer but great for the shareholder. If companies were compassionate and truly cared about customers and customer service they would run off every shareholder out there. The job of every company is to kiss "our" shareholders butts on a daily basis. A company will always bend over backwards for us. Customers are the lowest variable on the totem pole. The price is way to low if your phone is so important, you would be willing to pay 50 to 100 bucks for this service. Once the shareholders get wind of this crazy cheap ploy, we will make sure to force AT&T's hand to push prices higher and higher until we can suck every single cent from your pockets. We are not here to make you happy we are here to make ourselves RICH.
Nissan says its new electric car, the Leaf, gets 367 miles per gallon {Engadget}
Aug 15th 2009 8:11AM I think it would be infinite miles per gallon since you could buy a one gallon gas can and put it in your trunk and if the car ran forever the miles per gallon would be off the chart since one drop wouldn't be used (minus spills and evaporation) Remember if you are going to try to cram 5 friends into the trunk of your car to get in cheap to a drive in theater remove the can of gas so you don't all inhale the fumes in a inclosed space.
Don't let retailer's lights distract you from buying the right HDTV {Engadget}
Aug 10th 2009 10:12PM I have to second the Viera V series. My fathers Kuro died about 6 months ago from an electrical storm and he had $2800 in his pocket from the insurance company burning a hole in his pocket. He had it shipped from sixth avenue and friday we were already drooling over it's glory. I have Samsung UN55B8000 which i paid a bit more for for the future proof technology and am now second guessing my decision. I might have to figure a way to con my father into swapping with me.

Video: iPhone copy and paste is a 'pretty incredible thing'... for 1999 {Engadget}
Jul 1st 2009 2:12PM More than half of all phones that AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-MO have in stock today still do not cut, copy and paste. Many of the email applications on mobile phones still don't even have a spell checker. Most of the phones don't have wifi, compass, a2dp, a handful still don't have bluetooth and probably more than half still don't have a standard headphone jack.
