Interesting that they are upset about "continuous transmission" since downloading say an Ubuntu iso from an FTP site would also be a continuous transmission.

Jul 30th 2008 7:26AM Yeah there is a cache and when it detects motion it retrieves a few seconds of video from the cache from before the motion was detected. Not sure if this has that feature or not. Same way many DVR's can record something that happened before you hit the record button.

Jun 30th 2008 6:04PM It doesn't seem necessary for the the Wii to have a DVD drive, it was never marketed as an all in one media center device like the PS3 and Xbox360. The Wii is just a simple, relatively cheap gaming machine.
