Xbox 360 Wireless N adapter is really real, out this week in US for $100 {Engadget}
Nov 10th 2009 5:50PM That price is insane. But then again, the 360 has always being stupid expensive for its accessories.
Hey but at least they charge less for the console and "give" you to choice of those accessories instead of forcing you to have them :|
Lets see 360 Arcade + 120GB HDD + Wireless = $450 bucks :) Wow...what a deal :P HAHAHAH
DROID mania sweeps the nation, so to speak {Engadget}
Nov 6th 2009 3:43PM Are we gonna expect lines for every major Android handset release? Should be interesting
iPhone vs DROID multitouch keyboard showdown (video) {Engadget}
Nov 5th 2009 6:45PM I agree. Its good to point out....but what you did alla multi-touch on the iPhone doesn't really show why its even useful.
I wouldn't care if the only reason to have multi-touch was to type other letters while not lifting my other finger. Using multiple keys at the same time for functions would be a better way to show.
I only ever type 1 letter at a time so holding N and being able to press other letters doesn't really matter
Xbox 360 802.11n adapter rebirths on Costco site, ships November 10th for $88 {Engadget}
Nov 5th 2009 6:39PM That price is just stupid.
I don't care if they decision was "Hey you don't have to get it". Microsoft has convinced its users that paying $150 for a 120GB hdd and $90 for a friggin wireless connection isn't totally black balling and horrible practice towards its users.
Just because its a choice doesn't mean MS should be shoving a huge rod up your ass to use it. Fine make it a choice...even make it a little bit more expensive. But $90 for a wireless adapter is simply put OUTRAGEOUS I won't even get into how unbelievable it is that they charge more than $1 a GB for a hdd when most people charge less than 30c.
What a joke that anyone could possibly not say this is a complete and utter ripoff in everyway. This is coming from a Windows and Zune lover....yikes
Apple's App Store breaks 100,000 apps {Engadget}
Nov 4th 2009 2:16PM Apple has lots of apps and they will convince people who don't know any better to start spreading the "Dude iPhone has over 100k apps" word around town and they will be happy.
The fact that many are demos, repeats, useless or books isn't really the important part is it? The fact of the matter is iPhone has 100k of stuff available and others don't. Android has about 11,000 apps and I would venture to say a similar % of those are like the useless iPhone ones.
Apple knows its not about quality in this particular bragging/marketing ploy....they know they can convince people that 100k is an amazing thing no matter if a user will only find 3 useful apps or 30
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 announced, we go hands-on {Engadget}
Nov 3rd 2009 3:39AM I have longed to once again hold a Sony Ericsson beauty in my hands. Not since the glorious days of my hacked S710a have I found a phone that truly calls to my heart. Could this possibly be my new romance? I sure hope so........
Motorola MILESTONE does what DROIDon't {Engadget}
Nov 2nd 2009 7:49PM It definitely smells fishy but I dont see this being a huge issue for me if I were to get the DROID. I won't though...still sitting on my hands waiting for a proper AT&T android device (Come on SE!!)

Family awarded $16.5 million for wrongful death in 'Hold Your Wee for a Wii' contest {Engadget}
Oct 30th 2009 4:37PM A lot more cold hearted people here that I thought. Despite whatever you think of the lawsuit the woman died for most likely reasons she did not have prior knowledge of and from what we can tell was not told about.
It is not "common knowledge" that water poisoning even exists. Most of you are even thinking that it was the holding of her urine that killed her which is absolutely wrong. A couple guys posted what actual water poisoning is in here....read it.
Even if you don't believe they should have won the money, try not to be an ass just because you are sad you don't have that money and someone else does. You don't always have to be lucky or rich to need a lesson in humility.
Nokia vs. Apple: the in-depth analysis {Engadget}
Oct 29th 2009 4:04PM Everyone seems to be pointing out the iPhone device itself and the hardware inside.
I figured these patents had more to do with how the device uses the GSM, UTMS and Wifi networks themselves. Just because the iPhone uses the same hardware other devices has doesn't necc mean that they have programmed that hardware to work in the same fashions.
I mean I could be totally wrong but just a though :)
