Best Buy Mobile is about the closest you'll get to Carphone in the US, There is some sort of partnership between them.

The site said the N96 was to be released in June for the last few weeks. It also said that we'd be getting the Nokia Prism phones way back in september but they never surfaced so don't hold your breath

You can do the same with pretty much every business, especially in the mobile industry. Mobile industry does have it's fair share of customer care issues
