Palm Pre trouble roundup {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 8th 2009 1:02AM The battery does heat up and drain a little quick but that's something that can be fixed with updates in the future. However, I did notice the "splotchiness" when I had the phone on in the dark-- it's a little annoying but not something worth returning the Pre over. This phone has A LOT of great features already and a lot of great potential through updates-- that is the benefit of buying an innovative device like the Pre. Overall, I am really really happy with the Pre-- it is definitely a revolutionary device not only for Sprint and Palm but for smartphones all together. Like the iPhone did, it is going to push other manufacturers and carriers to improve on the products they put out. Customers want unique all-in-one devices with style; and the Pre is exactly that.

BlackBerry Storm sells out hard and fast {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 21st 2008 4:07PM Greeley, CO Verizon store is sold out and does not know when they will be getting more. Sounds like they only got a few in-- what happened to the reports that 400,000 of these things were being shipped to stores for the release?
BlackBerry Storm review {Engadget}
Nov 20th 2008 12:42AM well I respect engadget's opinion a lot when it comes to reviews and this review killed my enthusiasm for the Storm. i just don't know what other worth-while device is going to come along any time soon for Verizon.
Touch Pro launching on Verizon November 24, in stores December 1 {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 12th 2008 4:43PM What the hell is Verizon doing? Why do they always do this to potentially good phones, hiking up the price, messing with the specs, and then releasing it late. I do wonder what it will look like in person though, will it have the diamond-like back or the matte finish. I'm not a fan of the sharp corners either, it would have been nice if they had rounded them like AT&T and Sprint.
Epic Android bug interprets your typing as system commands {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 10th 2008 3:54PM What? My comment didn't imply any possible infection of the network-- I was simply saying that maybe AT&T and Sprint were right not to commit to Android given this new issue. Both companies commented that they believe Android needs more development before they will bring it to their networks; and maybe they said that knowing that Android isn't very tested and could present a lot of issues in the future. These problems I am referring to are hand-set/device issues not network.

Nov 8th 2008 11:31PM Guess AT&T and Sprint were right to say that Android needs some work before they will put it on their networks.
