Oct 1st 2007 5:31PM I think the point is that you can buy a Nokia that is locked from an operator (and get a discount), or pay full price, and get a Nokia that is unlocked. In that case, there are no limits to 3rd party apps. I haven;t seen a case where someone who pays full price (with no subsidy) also ends up with a locked phone.

May 1st 2006 3:31PM It's not really that hard to figure out - the entire concept of incarcerating someone as a punishment is to cut them off from society. The introduction of a cell phone into this environment counteracts the entire reason for putting an inmate into jail in the first place. Despite what some of our more 'enlightened' world neighbors may believe, our system of justice believes in jail as a penalty - not an overglorified 'time-out'.

Apr 26th 2006 5:48PM The only Nokia-owned store currently in operation is in Moscow - other stores that appear to be 'Nokia Stores' in Europe are independent retailers exclusively selling Nokia products, but are not Nokia owned-and-operated.
