Jul 8th 2008 1:51PM Honestly, I think everyone here is being a little too picky on our friend Erica. She basically points out the facts that the 3G iPhone is merely an evolution of a great product, instead of a revolution. And this is fine with me, and probably millions of users out there. I don't own an iPhone, but waiting for this upgrade has sucked for me, so I'll still be going out on Friday to pick up a 3G (and ditching VZW in the process). However, I definitely appreciate Erica's comments; it's made me wonder if I should just buy a 1st Gen iPhone from eBay.
Of course, if I do that, who knows what kinds of plans I'll be able to get from ATT. Will they hook me up with the more awesome and cheaper monthly plan that is currently available for 1st Gen iPhoners - discounted data plan that includes Text Messages? This is the only question I haven't found an answer to yet. Anyone have a clue???

Jul 2nd 2008 9:57AM My fiance just moved out of her apartment and left her 24" CRT behind. Who knows what'll become of it, but there's no way we were lugging that beast to the new apartment. My 50" HDTV will do fine just fine.
