Dec 30th 2006 7:33PM Why doesn't MS make a OS for normal home users (ranging from noobs to power users) and one for corporate users. Home users just want a good and stable OS that they can do whatever the hell they want with it, and business users need stability security and compability with current business applications and processes.
It sucks that i have to use an OS that isn't intended for me, but for some cubicle guy that uses 3-4 apps in them. Make us happy MS!

Why not? S60 has everything and more than BB or WM, and great multitasking on a phone that i ever saw. I'm not a fanboy, but only curious why some think so low about S60 and Symbian?

I don't consider myself to be an computer expert, but the spyware / virus thing about Windows is just rubbish. I use my PC for 15 hours a day, i don't have a firewall or an antivirus.

How many viruses do i have? Zero. Spyware? None. Why? Because i'm not a sheep that doesn't care about my PC and uses crippled software. I use Opera for surfing, MS Outlook for e-mail and there are no problems in months. Even with Internet Explorer you can surf the web safely, the only thing that matters is your brain - know where to surf and where not tu surf. And i can safely say that i can do practically anything on PC that you can do on your Mac. Except mine is cheaper and can do other stuff.

For a person who doesn't know how to protect himself from spyware, maybe Mac is a better solution, but when almost 90% of home computers are Windows based, they'll be just living in a dreamland and when they come out they won't know what the hell to do with a PC.

Not all of us need a Mac, you know... Some people (actually a LOT of them) like to play games on their home computer which is pretty easy on a PC, you can install any game and it will work like a charm if you have a good CPU, graphics card and RAM. Macs can't do that because of the lousy graphic cards they are using. And another thing, when you install Windows XP on a Mac (you said that Macs can use Windows programs), it's not a Macintosh in the classic description, because a real Mac is a combination of hardware and software, no more, no less...
