Oct 1st 2008 8:15PM in all seriousness, w've been running our Mac Pro in an enclosed edit room for months, and not one client, director, or editor has complained of any of those symptoms. A few editors have been there for over 24 hours at one time and at no point has any smell or effect has reached them. I'll wait for an official statement before jumping on the worry bandwagon.

Nov 16th 2007 2:33AM I'm a left-handed graphic designer/editor that games on bootcamp, mouses with a right-hand, and uses a laptop. Boy do I have a variety.
For graphic design and editing, I prefer the Wacom Intuos3 8x11 (It's not a real mouse, so sue me) Perfect for detail and it feels natural, and works perfectly with my left hand.
I'm surprised no one else mentioned this. The mighty mouse is great for day-to-day stuff, AS LONG AS you use SteerMouse to program the main buttons for left-click only (like its predecessor), and the side buttons as the right-click. I love it for the 360 scroll ball, perfect for huge photos and windows that I encounter often with only a 15" screen. It's not that great for gaming though, since I can't program it in Bootcamp.
For now I use a cheap wireless Logitech mouse for games. I'll upgrade to something better as soon as Logitech makes the VX mouse bluetooth so I can take it on the go and not tie up one of only two USB slots on my Macbook Pro. Soon as they do that, I can see it replacing my mighty mouse too.
Remember: The mighty mouse doesn't suck that bad; it just needs SteerMouse.
