National Safety Council calls for nationwide ban on cellphone use while driving {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 13th 2009 5:13PM @ the Coward

It was a joke, get a sense of humor pal.

Go fuck yourself, it seems like you need to blow your load and is probably the only way you can get any.

Realize who you are fucking with, and watch your back. I could be lurking in the dark.

The obvious truth about text messaging: you're getting ripped off {Engadget}

Dec 29th 2008 1:18AM @ Kevlar

I understand where you are coming from. As a former Vancouver resident and lover of B.C. I have given plenty of change to the homeless of Vancouver. I gave and gave until I realized that I kept giving to the same people day after day.

Eventually I found a solution.

One drunken evening in front of The Camby I was asked for a dollar, to which I replied "I was just about to ask you the same thing man."

I used that every time and eventually they learned to leave me alone. The permanent fix may be to just quit frequenting the shit-hole areas of Vancouver (Gastown).

Are we all getting raped by the high cost of text messaging, of course we are.

We just cant do a damn thing about it.

RIM calls the Storm "Verizon's best-selling device" -- whatever that means {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 19th 2008 12:17AM Overall it's a good device. Sure there are some issues such as lag and the camera could be faster. Im sure they will be resolved with another firmware update or two. Hell, I still have problems with my iPod Touch sometimes (which I love), and that just goes to show that there really is no perfect device in existence yet.

Im really digging my Storm!

What's going on with Sprint? {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 9th 2008 11:53PM I respect that you like your service provider and I wouldn't be bashing Sprint unless I had years of experience with them once being mine. Sprint worked well in big cities and on major highways but I could never get reception where I really needed them. For years I was a ski/snowboarder instructor and I took advantage of the freedom the lifestyle provided me and moved from ski resort to ski resort whenever I felt the urge. They worked great in Vail but didn't at all in Mammoth Lakes, where I finally took my business to Verizon. When I met my wife, she too was with Sprint and their customer service was atrocious. They didn't provide her service at Stevens Pass, which is right smack in the middle of WA HWY 22, so I added a line of service, cancelled with Sprint and we have never looked back. I've driven from Alaska to Texas and back, criss-crossed this beautiful country of ours and have never had service availibility problems with Verizon, except in the most isolated of spots in New Mexico and parts of Wyoming.

All I am saying is that for my needs Sprint couldn't cut it. That coupled with the fact that they are not joining the rest of the civilized world with their 4G plans makes them a no-go now and in the forseeable future.

Apple, Walmart to do $99 4GB iPhone? {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 4th 2008 1:44PM @ Adam

I was being sarcastic. I was enjoying the satisfaction I would get imagining all the "I have an iPhone therfore I'm cooler than you" losers who will now be joined by all the kiddie and low end customers who buy the iPhone from Wal-Mart.

I don't own an iPhone, I'm on Verizon.
