BlackBerry Storm 9530 for Verizon gets boxed {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 27th 2008 11:39PM VZW data is $29.99 for personal email and unlimited data which is in line with average american prices (i.e. iPhone). You're a tard Jack

T-Mo isn't getting this. US Exclusive. Check out previous information regarding "Thunder"

Shouldn't there be a pre-requisite to posting on engadget or boy genius?

Verizon Alltel merger would form largest carrier in the US (by far) {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 5th 2008 5:00PM Qualcomm is working on a dual GSM & CDMA chipset - in the future
almost every VZW phone will be "global".

CDMA is not dead. GSM is not dead.

The future is IP based communications. At this point it looks like
the next technology battle will be LTE vs. WiMax.

ATT and VZW are both going LTE

LTE is not going to take long to roll out. 700 MHz = less towers.
Less towers= faster build out

Price plans between VZW and ATT are identical.

ATT typically follows VZW price plans.

Sprint and T Mobile are cheaper for various reasons.

2 premium carriers and 2 discount carriers =No monopoly

Consumers have dollars in thier pocket - use them how you want.

Those above statements are facts.

Europe and Asian carriers have GB/MB limits with overage costs.

Previously people on this website complained about the 5GB limit and thier service being off for exceeding the limit; now you complain that it costs more?? What do you like about EVDO? How does EVDO enhance your life? Do you find value in it? How do you use it? Are you streaming video or downloading music? If you are, enjoy it but expect to pay for what you use. The best part is, if you don't like the cost to value tradeoff take your money elsewhere and enjoy whatever you buy.

This isn't PONDEROSA - don't expect to take 10 trips to the buffet and have an ice cream sundae too. Instead you are taking a beautiful woman out to eat. First you start with a tasty and romantic meal. Next you take her out to have a cup of coffee. Afterwards, you have a nice treat perhaps ice cream. At the end of the night, you've paid for that great cup of Starbucks, that Latte or Mocha and that nice peice of Atlantic Salmon. Bottom line, you get what you've paid for.

Wouldn't you agree that some women demand a little more out of a date?

Samsung Juke unboxed {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 19th 2007 11:41PM the target market is tweens (up to 16 yrs old) although many outside that age bracket will look into this phone.

someone mentioned the i760 which has a 1.3 MP camera not 2 MP

if you are looking for a sideloading MP3 player and basic phone with basic features, this is a great device. or if you carry a PDA or BlackBerry for data features and need a basic phone for voice consider this unit. It should be popular with kids for the holidays
