Oct 20th 2009 11:41PM Not this "Firewire 400 is dead" thing again. Firewire 800 handles both 400 and 800 with the right cable. There's no reason for any modern computer to have FW400 ports. It's like lamenting USB 1.1 is dead because computers only have USB 2.0 ports.
