LG Voyager coming to Sprint, AT&T this year? {Engadget Mobile}
Apr 14th 2008 2:30PM Ive used the Voyager for about two weeks on my Verizon plan. The touch screen sucks on it. Compared to my iPhone, the touch screen is archaic. It is not as responsive, you have to press harder to get it to work, doesn't work if you use multiple fingers, and there is no way you can get typing using the on-screen keyboard like I can on iPhone. I got it because I thought it was going to be an iPhone killer. But it is apparent that those who say the touch screen is comparable to the iPhone has never used an iPhone. Who cares if it has haptic feedback with the screen sucks overall in comparison?
Zune Guy's name change endeavor is back on {Engadget}

iPhone 3G's baseband chip revealed? {Engadget Mobile}
Apr 9th 2008 1:50AM Wow ... what an ignorant comment. These chips aren't made specifically for the device. They are chips with lots of features that manufacturers can take advantage of. Making use of those features will cost money. Not only does it cost money, but they take up room on the internet circuit board used in the iPhone. The iPhone by itself is very compact. To get all of those features, they would have to also increase the size of the device. I can guarantee that most of your modern electronic computing devices has chips in there that are not completely used ... GUARANTEE.

Mar 24th 2008 2:53AM A big problem with conflict today has to do with religion. Most of these problems today come from a war that has been going on for thousands of years. There is not one country that brought on Muslim extremists. Regardless of whether the US has gotten into this fight, there would still be this war. Its an idiots dream to think that simply being nice will get their war to stop. You want to stop war? Get rid of the concept of religion and get the world to focus on humanity. Most wars have been started by religious conflict.
Lenovo X300 ad takes the MacBook Air head-on {Engadget}
Mar 20th 2008 3:51PM WTF? They took a picture of the screen open to make it look slimmer. My current laptop looks thin if I open the screen and stretch it out like that. The MacBook Air looks thinner with the screen CLOSED. They hope to make people believe their laptop is thinner by using camera tricks?
Adobe says Flash is coming to the iPhone {Engadget}
Mar 19th 2008 1:00AM Yes there are more WIIs than iPhones. That means absolutely nothing though. I know a lot of people with WII units, and most people don't use the console for web browsing. And this is apparent looking at browser market share. iPhone is easily more popular as a web device than WII is. I have never seen WII mentioned having any browser market share. If Adobe is going to choose a device that to develop Flash for, iPhone should be the one they choose, not the WII. And, they are making the right decision according to what I have just read.

Mar 18th 2008 5:38PM Because the mythbusters way is crude and roughly done with the steering wheel ripped out so a box can simply turn the wheel. This guys solution is a bit more elegant where it still looks like a car on the inside instead of just jerry rigging a car with slap on hardware.
iPhone firmware 2.0 hands-on {Engadget}
Mar 18th 2008 2:43PM Both my BlackBerry 8100 and 8320 have cut and paste. My old 7100t had copy and paste as well. Palm has it. Windows Mobile Professional has it as well. All phones running S60 has it. The only phones that don't have copy and paste are generic phones, iPhone, and WM standard phones like the Motorola Q.

Mar 18th 2008 2:40PM How would the 30% cut make a difference? 70/30 is pretty much a standard cut with lots of other developer programs. Or 80/20, but you have to pay maintenance and yearly fees.

Mar 18th 2008 2:31PM Other mobile phones have 3rd party applications? I thought the only application they had was Java Mobile Edition and they just simply ran java apps through that. Those programs are generic and do not make use of special features of the phone. FORGET about fast 3D graphics with them. The only phones I know that actually have 3rd party programs that are made for them are phones running WM, Symbian, or Palm.
Have you not seen the SDK demos? You are actually telling me that most other phones are capable of that kind of software? You are all crazy. When 3rd party support becomes a reality, the software quality will stand unique amongst every other phone. And which other phone has the same 3D graphics ability? We already know that iPhone is capable of some PSP style console quality gaming. I have had WM devices for years including my Tilt and they come nowhere close. Those apps from the March 6 event look better than most WM apps, and they were made in only 2 weeks.
