DROID tethering? It's coming early 2010, says Verizon {Engadget}

Nov 4th 2009 6:27AM Well...the thing is, EVERY OTHER MEDIA OUTLET is covering/hyping this phone. This is more keeping up than anything else. Not everyone can be Pitchfork/BrooklynVegan and ignore/bash stupid stuff (and even those guys are guilty of following stupid trends).

DROID tethering? It's coming early 2010, says Verizon {Engadget}

Nov 4th 2009 6:22AM Can I just say how much of a spoiled brat you sound right there?

Not only does it say that tethering IS coming, but in no way is this a matter of "fair use" (how the hell are you defining "fair use" here? because clearly it doesn't make sense to the fair use I've come to understand, nor does it seem relevant) like you claim, but looks more like a matter of getting it to work properly on official level. I must say, at least they responded reasonably: Announcing, before launch, a timeframe of when to expect it after launch. You couldn't get that from Apple/AT&T, could you?

You've rushed to judgement, and you lack any sense of patience. Verizon has lots of problems, but you sound more like a brat who will kvetch at the slightest error. Go back to mama.

Piracy discourages future PixelJunk PSP port plans {Joystiq}

Oct 20th 2009 7:31AM Bitching at pirates for piracy on the comments section of a gaming news site is like talking to a coffee table: Why bother other than to look like a complete idiot?

'Good Enough Technology' Means Cheap and Easy Always Wins {Switched.com}

Sep 7th 2009 3:52PM MP2s? Are you a complete idiot or something? Seriously, if you're going to make an argument like that, at least know what you're talking about and not ass-pull. It makes you and your obviously-displayed blog a little more enticing. Just a little though.

2K Boston's next big thing is a shooter {Joystiq}

Aug 10th 2009 7:11PM How is this a positive development? The majority of 2K Boston/2K Australia left after BioShock to form 2K Marin (Which, I just realized, is to the north of me) for BioShock 2. Some stragglers, in particular the Brosius family, moved to Harmonix. All that's really left of 2K Boston is Ken Levine and some new people. And I hear Ken's a real asshole!

I don't think there will be gold out of this one.

Apple phasing out iPhone 3G in favor of 8GB 3GS? {Engadget}

Aug 5th 2009 2:00PM Well, it could also just be Rogers being Rogers, you know.

The main argument's prolly true tho...

The $6,910 "best" headphone sound system: how can you afford your audiophile lifestyle? {Engadget}

Jul 15th 2009 3:10AM The design tells me something: This is prolly aimed at mobile audio engineers (tracking/mixing), especially those who have small setups or don't want to carry around Genelec pairs everywhere (since those are not built to move around that much), and want quality analog pre-amps.

Flash 10 for smartphone beta coming this October {Engadget}

Jun 22nd 2009 7:31PM ...Meh. Flash needs to be rebuilt. It's so processor intensive that any webpage with Flash that I run on this laptop nowadays slows it down. The only comparable form of slowdown I see happens when I run a freaking game. Flash needs to cut back on the power it needs.

Verizon to offer GameTap-esque service in the Northeast starting this summer {Joystiq}

Jun 22nd 2009 12:36AM Yeah, what's with the Verizon hate? I can understand VZW having problems, but THAT'S SEPARATE FROM VERIZON DSL/FIOS.

Verizon DSL is all right, FiOS great. The big thing tho: Verizon has an official hands-off policy on bandwidth. FiOS...I wish stuff like that would reach the cities, for once. Fuck the suburbs.

New MacBook Pros shipped with HDDs only have 1.5Gbps SATA enabled {Engadget}

Jun 15th 2009 3:52PM @Mr. Blurrycam:
Fair assessment. On the other hand, I have over 30 gigs of personal music (which I've stopgapped because my music player's only at , 50 gigs (and rising) of music/movie projects (which is actually kind of low...I need to get back to work on that), 10 gigs of photos and photo projects (also rising, now that I'm starting to use RAWs on my SLR), and then over 30 gigs of other personal items such as movies, games (many of which aren't recent. Games these days are starting to exceed 10 gigs as a minimum requirement on a frequent basis), and other stuff. Storage space is still very important. I'll consider SSD when the cost per gig is around $1, but I can live without the disk speed boost for a while.
