Nikon D700 gets real: full-frame, 12.1 megapixels {Engadget}
Jul 1st 2008 5:44AM Makes me wish Olympus would get its act together and release a
full-frame.
(Yes, I know, Olympus is putting all its money on its "universal"
Four-Thirds sensor, but hey, you might as well be undermining the
needs of pros. It's pathetic really...perhaps it won't happen till
full-frame can be "prosumerised.")

Rogers announces iPhone 3G plans, unlimited data isn't one of them {Engadget}
Jun 28th 2008 6:23AM Dude, you got your numbers off. The dollar is incredibly weak right now.

£35=US$69.70, C$70.25

Jun 28th 2008 6:07AM Well...if that's the case, then you're fucked. Let's look at the four parties:
Tories: Fucktards+capitalists
Liberals: Corrupt
Bloc: It's a bit of a problem that the country allows the existence a party whose sole intent is initiate the independence of a VERY large province (though I have other issues with the province itself)
NDP: Weak...further weakened by the fact that its non-Quebec-related ideals are also held by the Bloc, blocking out Quebec (there's a reason why they've only gotten only two people elected in that province in its entire existence).
Rogers does, however, take advantage of one huge situation of late: The parity of the dollar to the loonie (it's been stable right now at just underneath .98 USD). It makes the prices more ridiculous than necessary. If these prices were from four years ago, than they'd be comparable to US rates based on exchange.
Steve Ballmer retirement: 2018, if Bill doesn't get in the way {Engadget}
Jun 5th 2008 3:57AM You know what? I don't feel so much antagonism for Bill anymore. It actually makes me wonder if what went wrong the past...15, 20 years was entirely his fault.

NVIDIA to simplify product range as it courts consumers {Engadget}
May 7th 2008 7:36PM Yeah, I'd love to see how these guys, who have built their entire client base on graphics-oriented users (i.e., gamers and graphics designers), actually pull off this diversification. Especially since outside that base (which constitute at most 20% of computer users), users don't really care about graphics. Or Crysis, for that matter.
