Engadget's recession antidote: win a Sonos Multi-Room Music System Bundle 150 {Engadget}

Apr 29th 2009 12:57PM Certainly would be nice to have something like this as opposed to just have a whole mess of receivers scattered about my house!

Movea's Gyration Air Music Remote doubles as a wireless mouse {Engadget}

Sep 9th 2008 8:22AM I have the older version of this, the one without that screen at the top, and I absolutely love it. The mouse works so much better than the bluetooth one it replaced, that piece of crap Logitech would never stay paired.

As for the iPhone remark, perhaps some people are in the market for a decent remote for their Media Center PC as opposed to a fashion statement made by a company that seems to pride itself on having a cult of lemming-esque followers.

Ford to meet with dealers about future products, try to close stores {Autoblog}

Aug 28th 2008 7:40AM What about those of us who aren't able to fit (literally) into small cars? At 6'6" some of us just aren't cut out for a Civic, Yaris or Corolla. I don't drive a compact (early 90s Maxima) and yet I get very good gas mileage, mid 20s around town and high 20s/low 30s on the interstate. Even fully loaded up with four people and luggage I get around 26/27mpg on the highway. Tell me again why I should get a smaller car?

Princeton professor sez cracking HDCP is "eminently doable" {Engadget}

3) total lamers n can make and distribute free copies of $20.00 movies."

I'm going to have to disagree with you there Torontoguy. Just because a few people circumvent copy protection schemes for monetary gain doesn't mean that everyone does. VLC Media Player depends on circumventing DVD copy protection to play DVDs from all regions and it's not only probably the best media player out there, it's free/open source. Also, like OMAC said, why would a computer science professor be working on a cure for cancer? (By the way, some cancers already can be treated/cured)
