I wouldn't count on any playing nice between TiVo and DirecTV anytime soon. Saw this just the other day, kind of sounds like DirecTV would much rather have their own DVR than be reselling TiVo's ....

Apr 13th 2006 1:49PM I agree with Zatz's comments -- I just installed DVR Anywhere today (only just learned about Orb last night) and I have to say it's quite impressive so far. But I can live without the "program your DVR through orb.com" capability, so I didn't supply those credentials. If I need to program my TiVo over the web, I can ... uh ... just go to tivo.com! No need to add another layer in there and put my login at risk.
