Jun 11th 2008 3:55PM I think you're wrong because when I got the first Iphone, I wasn't upgrading..it just renewed my 2 year contract
and a few months ago, my mom got the LG shine and she didnt upgrade, but it didn't add 2 more years of contract, it just replaced our old one
so of course people that don't have an upgrade can buy it!
my family and I have been with AT&T for 4 years and each member has gone through 3 different phones so I know how they do things
