Sep 15th 2009 7:43AM You are right, they are not always tax included but at least 95% of the times they are.
In this case the price is tax included because if you read here http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/2326/nokia-booklet-3g
and make pound/euro conversion you fill find that the final price is 570 €.

No, in Europe prices are always announced tax included because there is not a single announce for all Europe but several announces for every single country even if they have the same currency like euro. So it will be 570 € tax included for Italy. Maybe in Germany it will be 10 euro cheaper but still around 570 € ant still tax included. And so on.
Look here: http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/2326/nokia-booklet-3g price in UK is 517.49 £ (pounds) tax included or 449.99 £ plus tax! And 517 £ is equal to 570 €.

So there is no doubt that 570 € is the final price.

Sep 12th 2009 7:14AM For Engadget:
in Europe and in Italy too, prices are always tax included not like in the US where you have to add local taxes. So 570€ IS THE FINAL PRICE, TAX INCLUDED!
I know this because I live in Italy.

Palm Pre drops to $99 at Best Buy (update: "error is being corrected," says Best Buy) {Engadget}

Jul 26th 2009 3:58PM @ Paul Chapel
The price of the Palm Pre was 200 everywhere! (300-100 mail in rebate at Sprint or 200 at Best Buy). So it's a $100 drop. Period.
Two years ago there was a $200 drop for the iphone. Double than the Pre! Period.
And remember that the price of a phone with a 2-year contract must include the 24 monthly fees. So it's no-sense to say "the price is dropped to one third" etc. Period.

You are the biggest troll of the planet. A real Apple fanboy.

Poll: Are you buying a Palm Pre? {Engadget}

May 20th 2009 5:35AM @ Paul a. Chapel

1) iPhone has not the most apps of any smartphones. Win Mob has at least 30000 + palm os apps (via Styletap emulation) + java
2) iPhone has not 40000 apps because some thousands are lite versions (try before you buy) of paid apps and thera are also many ebooks which are not real apps
3) iPhone ecosystem has the most junk on the planet
4) iPhone is the only smartphone where you can't have some kind of apps (like gps navigator and others) thanks to a draconian Apple's policy.
5)Palm WebOs can run old Palm OS apps via Motionsapps emulator and there are around 30000 palm os apps already available.
6)Palm Pre cost 200$ + 2 year contract, not 300$

You are only an Apple fanboy!

Palm's $70 Touchstone dock, other Pre accessories appear in Best Buy system {Engadget}

May 10th 2009 5:13AM 70$? Too much.
Palm needs to sell a lot in the next months if they want to survive. And this is not the right price to sell a lot...
