Aug 14th 2009 3:12AM I like Palm sticking with the portrait keyboard, but I wish they wouldn't have gone with the gel keys from the Centro/Treo Pro. I think my Treo 800w has the best keyboard of any phone I've ever had - there's plenty of other stuff to complain about when you're talking about the 800w, but the keyboard sure isn't one of them.

Aug 13th 2009 5:31AM This is good to hear. My girlfriend's contract will be up for renewal in September and she likes the Pre, but I've been wary about getting her one with the loose hinge and cracked screen issues.
Hopefully these problems will be old news by the time she gets around to upgrading. =)
