Downgrading 2.1 iPhones not as daunting as originally thought {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 28th 2008 10:51PM Except the iPhone doesn't have the option of a user-replaceable battery, which would lend to larger capacity batteries or carrying a spare. Not only that, the push email seems to be a HUGE drain on battery, as I have been able to go a lot longer with fetch enabled instead of push! It's just sad when I get about three hours of usage and 8 hours of standby on a full charge :(

Sep 25th 2007 11:49AM The "wifi access" feature seems to work great when you're on the local network, but over the internet, even with an 8mb down/2mb up cable connection, the video freezes frequently. Anyone else observe this?

Apple giving early iPhone buyers $100 credit {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Sep 6th 2007 6:12PM Well Apple has done the "Apple" thing and made the customer happy....regardless of what Apple and Steve feels is right. This only goes to show how unique a company like Apple is in corporate America.
