Jul 27th 2008 5:37AM Well, I just picked up a "used" (=unpacked once, never fired a shot, strap missing) D3 for the same price as a new D700. No denying that the D700 is a lot lighter which will make a difference at the end of a long day. On the other hand, the D3 is a tank, and I like the integrated vertical grip. In terms of picture quality - no difference whatsoever. I would not pay the premium for getting a new D3, but at the same price, mint condition - oh yeah...

Apr 8th 2006 11:28PM I have no grudge against all of you yelling "Shopped!" or "Not!", but it's actually not that interesting reading threads where 90% of the comments are about whether a certain picture is altered or not... If you have some proof, by all means share it, if not those personal theories are mostly a waste of space.
