Apr 3rd 2009 7:26AM I own Tritton AX Bluestream. In the time I bought them, my principal need along with AVRCP was Caller ID. This unit has A2DP, AVRCP and a Caller ID. It has a regular 3.5 headphone jack and the microphone is built in also. I use it with my Ultimate Ears studio in-ear headphone. I always wear a t-shirt under my shirt so I clip the AxBluestream on my t-shirt and pass the cable inside my shirt and make it exits in the rear and both headphone are on each side of my head, inside the collar. So they are almost hidden and I don't look like an extraterrestrial. When I have a call, I simply put one of the headphone in my ear and press the button to answer. I sometime have to pull on the collar to see the caller ID, but it's fine with me.
The sound with musin isn't has good if it were directly connected, but I think that it's better than having to worry about wires every time. The sound is still pretty descent. The phone has something to do also because, with my HTC Universal it sounded like crap because the device wasn't bluetooth 2.0. Now with an HTC Touch Pro, it's pretty good.
There may be something better now than the AX Bluestream since I bought it last year I think (is was annonced on engadget and a week later I had them in my hand)

Since October I kept looking on www.pdadb.net and the "released date" is always pushed a bit... in october it was "November 2007", in November is was bumped to "mid-December", in january, it jumped to mid February and today, the date was pushed another time... "March 2008"
This is the first device to promise a real upgrade over my HTC Universal. Is there any other device with VGA screen, 256MB ROM /128MB RAM, GPS, QWERTY, running winmo6... Ok ... Let's be patient.
