I'm only surprised the gap was not wider. Ask anyone who has gone from Palm to BB and 99% will tell you BB is a better device all around. I would go to a regular flip or candybar before going back to Palm. Yearly software delays, no interest in making cutting edge products like they used. Smartass comments like the ones dissing BB's recent outages. Really sad Palm that even with BB's occasional outages, people would rather have that then your slow bricks. Treos are like gridlock traffic, you'll still get where you want to go but it will take much longer and damn is it frustrating!

I guess BB should be ridiculed for upgrading their servers and actually giving a damn about their customers needs whereas Palm customers have to beg for a year for a worthless WM5 upgrade. It's a shame Palm, you were once the innovators and now you hate on a company who took what you created and made it better.

This fool was not trying to make a statement or stand up for some righteous cause, he wanted a taste of that "15 minutes of fame" (Andy Warhol(TM)). Some of you don't find this just slightly disingenous that he's making money off the damn thing??? He says, paraphrasing "I've decided to donate a PORTION to charity, email me and I will pick a winner". Are you kidding me?? If your ideals are so important then why don't you donate ALL of it to the charity that you believe in, not one that is the "winner". Anyone who feels bad for this guy, just remember he's being "tased" all the way to the bank and laughing it up.
