Jul 11th 2008 8:26PM A 3G phone with bad camera, NO MMS, and NO Video Calling. This is one of the few "3G" phones without Video Calling. They are going to make a video calling version next year for another wave of profit. Nice.

Jul 10th 2008 11:01PM I have to agree with you. The reason I sold my first generation iPhone is because it is so hard to type text messages. Not that I didn't try to get used to it, I used it for 3 months and still went back to my blackberry.

Jul 7th 2008 10:25PM We are so outdated on both plans and phones that it isn't funny anymore. One of my Asian friends just moved here. I took her to dealers to check out our phones and plans. She just laughed and said her grandmother used better phones/plans.

Japan has 5 Mega Pixels camera phones 3 years ago and it just STARTED to get popular here. It is so outdated here.I want WVGA screen phones or whatever you want to call it here.

Jun 27th 2008 9:21PM When Rogers first rolled out its data package, it was $25 for 2MB. So it is actually getting better now. The price drop is slow because normal Canadians are not using any data device (Canadians like FREE phones and cheap plans.) and Rogers/Fido is the only GSM provider in town.

You should check what Telus $15/$30 so-called unlimited data really means. You have just no idea it is actually "limited" for certain things.

Jun 20th 2008 9:20PM How long is your "JUST"? Is it over 30 days and your account over 30 minutes of talk time? If it is, then they WON'T let you get another phone in 12 months period. Not only that, even if you wait 12 months period (2009), you won't pay $199 for 8GB iPhone, you will be paying $399(maybe even more and not less).
If I were you I would throw the account to your friend and get yourself a new activation. It doesn't matter how many years you have been with Fido/Rogers, new activation always get the best deal. Good luck. :)
