Virgin Mobile's "Totally Unlimited" turns off the meter for $79.99 a month {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 24th 2008 10:14AM Oh yes, it's definitely time for at least AT&T. But knowing AT&T, more major-leagued carriers would have to adopt this stragedy first. This would be worth losing my 3,000 roll-over minutes, lol.

Mental health clinic treats children for cellphone addiction {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 22nd 2008 8:30AM I'm not surprised in the least. Countries are constructing special "poles' on the sidewalk for people who are texting furiously and walking mindlessly at the same time; People are driving (w/ no hands) and texting at the same time (idiots, lol). Hell, .... they already have real legitimate Crackberry anonymous groups. Think about like this ... there's a thin line between like, love, and addiction. Devices are becoming more and more advance to whereas you can do literally (multiple) or anything simultaneously with minimal effort on your part.
I wouldn't blame the girls excusively for being "addicted" (if that's truly the case), neither the devices using. I wonder if they were using crackberries.. hmmm. Let me be the first to say, I will not be surprised (in the least) if and when 'Iphone Anonymous" groups are formed for Iphone junkies, lol.

iPhone 3G from AT&T: unlimited data for $30 {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 9th 2008 8:42PM By the way, what's the situation with the MMS anyway? Has it been confirmed that 3G Iphone is able to send/recieve video clip and picture messages? It's a shame if it doesn't.

Tetris, MobiTV favorites for AT&T customers {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 9th 2008 2:06PM I thought about purchasing MobiTV through AT&T; but learned that it's $5.00 cheaper and you get more channels, if you buy for mobitv directly.

BlackBerry Thunder touchscreen phone in live shot {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 8th 2008 12:58PM As a former 'Curve' owner, I can imagine the "Thunder" is targeted for specific market, clearly not the business/corporate market whereas they heavily rely on the ability to check/send texta and emails messages quickly. I don't see hardcore BB users flocking to this, maybe a few softcore users. The device looks innovative and an attempt for BB to keep up with the ever-changing market. It reminds me of the HTC Diamond for the casual/hip business person.

Supreme Court rejects T-Mobile appeal over contracts {Engadget Mobile}

May 30th 2008 12:03AM Dear Slowskys, Please accept my humble apologies. I, in no shape or form, meant any disrespect. I have a high regard for turtles, in fact I had a pet turtle well over 2 decades ago. It had a club hoave, and diabetes, yet surprising faster than Slow Mobile. I meant T-Mobile. I guess in my original statement, i was referring to the my pet turtle, named .... Mr. Slow Mo. that's what I refer t-mobile as.

Supreme Court rejects T-Mobile appeal over contracts {Engadget Mobile}

May 29th 2008 10:25PM No love for T-Mobile and quickly soaking up reject on a federal and state leve. Ouch. I lost all respect I had for them when they let me down on their turtle-like rollout of 3G, and not to mention their phone selection. I paid my ETF after being loyal for 4 years and skipped to AT@T. I have no regrets.

AT&T closing in on completion of HSUPA upgrade {Engadget Mobile}

May 22nd 2008 3:00PM I guess the increased speed is good, but I know HSDPA will wreak havoc on battery life. I currently own a Kaiser and have it configured to only use EDGE, (due to battery consumption), but periodically use 3G when streaming music. I may need to buy a bigger battery and/or carry my a/c power cord everywhere I go. Never the less, I can't really complain.

CECT Wrist watch phone is borderline wearable {Engadget Mobile}

May 22nd 2008 9:24AM I like the design is good and no too shabby, but a touch screen, and a Micro SD card slot is a deal breaker for me. Then I'll think about purchasing one for no more than $300.
