Aug 25th 2007 7:55AM All I can say is that US carriers are greedy money grubbers with no competition. Here in Singapore the law requires all phones sold to be unlocked. 4 million people have 3 phone carriers to choose from. How many are in the U.S. ? Around 10 or so for 300+ million. Please. H.K. has 7 carriers for 6 million and you don't get bent over for your monthly subscription ($10 usd for 1k minutes). Just wait for the iphone to reach Singapore (if you still want it by then) and get it already unlocked...
