AT&T announces iPhone 3G pricing plans {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 1st 2008 12:39PM If you bought an iPhone last year (which was not subsidized) are you elegible to "upgrade" now?

Apple sends iPhone 3G FAQ to retail employees: play dumb over activation {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 1st 2008 12:48AM Sales of the 3G are going to be disappointing. Lots of us who bought the original iPhone feel screwed by the price drops...who knows what goodies Apple will announce in 60 days.
Also, if you already have an iPhone, is double the data speed on 3G worth re-buying the same device? Edge is so slow, even at double the speed it's not good enough. I enjoy my Wi-Fi connections and won't usually wait for a web page on Edge....tooo slow.
Apple has proven this year that it can build a great product and at the same time, piss off all the customers who ran out and bought it at 3 times the price of the next gen one less than 1 year later.
Also, if you are forced to use AT&T, even worse. I have 2 iPhones, 1 on T-Mobile (ziphone.org hacked) and the other is with AT&T. Guess which one I use more....

Cheapo refurbished iPhones for sale online from AT&T {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 20th 2008 8:06PM I think poor Jay may have been too rash. I just got my DHL tracking number and shipment confirmation too.

Cheapo refurbished iPhones for sale online from AT&T {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 20th 2008 11:09AM I ordered mine when I saw the posting. I just got my email which states that the phones are on back order. I'm not so sure how you can back order a refub phone. Does that mean you have to wait until more people turn them in? Or is there a warehouse somewhere with a bunch of these that just needs to get to the shipping center?

Cheapo refurbished iPhones for sale online from AT&T {Engadget}

Mar 18th 2008 10:44PM I have an ATT contract and 1 iPhone already. I just picked one of these cheapo ones up and plan to use it with my T-mobile contract.

T-Mobile releases Motorola RAZR 2 V8 {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 15th 2007 10:58PM Also missing is Hotspot@Home compatability.

Another look at the BlackBerry 8320 for T-Mobile {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 8th 2007 12:09PM I bought this device for the Hotspot@ Home feature. It seemed like a good idea to merge a Vonage line and cell phone I had. The other 2 hotspot phones are boring.
I didn't sign up for the Blackberry or data plan since my away from home needs for that were minimal, but I was told I could use those features at a hotspot.
Here's my disappointments:
1. No data or internet use from your own hotspot (unless you pay more for the plan)
2. You buy Hotspot@Home and it doesn't give you use of T-Mobile's hotspots.

The Curve is going back within the 30 days; hopefully a better handset is released before then.
