you're right, except currently the R/T's are MORE expensive then MSRP and people are buying them with a markup.

Dec 2nd 2008 12:34PM I disagree, i think the distinct look of the upper end models makes them more exclusive. Granted the base models could use some work, but they should definately not look like the R/T and SRT models. Also as far as I know the challenger SE specifically looks nearly identical to the R/T, fake hood scoops and all. No hemi badging and smaller wheels, but hey, what more could you ask for in a 'base' model?

Dec 1st 2008 4:44PM amazing how people can keep a job, where they do nothing, and dont even show up for that sometimes. If i did that in my line of work i'd be fired within less then a week. Even on my 'sick' days i usually have to log in from home a few times to take care of urgent things.

BMW took the handling of an SUV and the practicality of a sports car to make the ultimate worst of both worlds.

Nov 29th 2008 9:07PM pretty simple solution to them screwing you over like this. Just tell the rep you have a RROD. Not like you have a video phone or anything. few weeks later your xbox is magically replaced under that 3 year warranty even though they tried to weasel out of it. Just out-think them.

Nov 26th 2008 4:22PM I can't say I agree with you ken about MB not selling manuals due to lack of demand. BMW 5 series have a manual option, as does an audi a6, so why not an E class? Especially the AMG E63, at the very least it should have an automated manual, if not a true manual. BMW got a huge amount of flack for not offering the 6-speed in new M5, so much so that it is now an option. Yet MB seems to get away with a slushbox and no one bats an eye. Come to a small car like the A and B class and a manual would really liven up what is likely a relatively low performance motor, adding some fun-factor to it. I know its not for everyone, but i believe a solid market is still there.

Nov 26th 2008 12:57PM I will never buy a M-B until they take their arrogant heads out of their asses and offer a manual transmission in their cars. I dont care how safe, fast, pretty it may appear to some people.(personally i think most M-B are very plain looking.) No clutch, no care. At the very least if they are so obsessed with automatics, they could at least develop a dual-clutch box to offer some semblance of performance. Even the "mighty" SLR has a slushbox.
