Verizon's anti-iPhone gets its first commercial: 'Droid Does' {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 17th 2009 10:29PM Really great ad (and I have an iPhone). Competition is good. Hopefully this will encourage Apple to add some of these features to current and future iPhones.

Apr 20th 2009 11:39PM I thought it was pretty funny. Her facial expressions were kinda dumb, but I'll let it slide. I liked the concept.

Rogers Wireless' own UR magazine outs Sony Ericsson C905? {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 27th 2009 12:05AM This is Rogers Wireless's official magazine, so it's as official as official gets beyond the phone actually being in the stores. I think they had the Bold and/or Pearl Flip in it as well before they were launched. I don't think they do a feature of an upcoming phone unless it's definite that it's coming. So we can expect the SE C905 very soon.

Verizon tells us all about the BlackBerry Storm's "WOW factors" {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 23rd 2008 12:29PM Official confirmation that it DOES have Quadband GSM. Only 2100 HSPA though. This exact device could easily end up on Voda too. So what if it also has CDMA? It has the bands Voda needs, and it can roam on Verizon in the states.
So nay to all the naysayers who said it would never have GSM 850/1900.
Verizon Blackberry Storm talking points slip out {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 15th 2008 6:59PM The term "Quadband" has always been synonymous with "Quadband GSM". Until I see specs that state otherwise I'll stand by that. Regardless, the 9500 for Rogers and Eurasian providers will undoubtedly be Quadband GSM with (at least) Triband HSPA (850/1900/2100).

Aug 14th 2008 12:54PM Big surprise that this Conservative government has failed us yet again. That and the fact that they want to make unlocking phones illegal.
