Verizon takes another swing at AT&T, puts iPhone on the Island of Misfit Toys {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 8th 2009 7:18PM lol att 3g network has always sucked about time vzw actually proved it to the public. I mean who the F$@k pays $30 dollars for iphone data or any smartphone when you live in a city that either A. Doesn't have 3g coverage or B. their 3g coverage sucks so bad you only have access to 3g for about 20 percent of the time before switching back and forth between Edge and 3g.

DROID mania sweeps the nation, so to speak {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 6th 2009 10:15AM lol what the hell??? is so easy to get a droid which i taught it was gonna be hard? Damn why did I have such a hard time buying a Samsung Moment here in Phoenix, AZ i had to buy it all the way in Chandler, AZ until two days after it came out cause they were sold out in the stores I called.

Mysterious HTC Android phone spied, might lean the way of the Dragon {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 18th 2009 11:10PM is it me?? or does anyone fails to realize how this model looks like the hero meaning similar design which means sprint will be getting this phone.

AT&T's 3G MicroCell does unlimited calling, but it ain't cheap {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 20th 2009 8:03PM Hell yeah att is so full of caca. Thats the way this company will try to rape you my brother just canceled his service with att after 4 months with them. He was paying $75 after taxes with the minimum minutes 450 with 5,000 night an weekend minutes plus the text messaging and the insurance. Now he got a pre pays about same amount but enjoys the any mobile anytime deal with unlimited 450 and unlimited everything else. He has constant 3g signal and has the unlimited nights that start at 7:00pm. ATT will be the #3 carrier in the future with is overpriced plans, cheap network, most unreliable 3g, an soon to expire iphone exclusivity.

HTC Leo spotted in the wild, sports gargantuan 800 x 480 display {Engadget}

Sep 14th 2009 12:11PM Damn this looks sick and especially with a 1ghz snapdragon. Sprint hurry up and get this phone out too.

AT&T slinging HSPA 7.2 to six cities this year, adding backhaul capacity too {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 9th 2009 11:36AM @drew well in one way you have a point the iphone will weaken verizon/sprint data but not as much as att since their 3g still wasn't good even before the iphone. Now one question i ask myself is why att didn't do this shit earlier after all the profits. One thing for sure the iphone won't affect coverage since right now sprint/verizon offer twice more 3g coverage or more.

@many sprint doesn't cap their data to cellphones such as the pre,tour, touch pro2 etc they do cap their broadband data something att and verizon also does and remember sprint was the last one to cap their broadband use.

HTC Touch Pro2 graces Verizon on September 11 {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 6th 2009 10:16PM ir1 Like I said if you live in an area where sprint's voice signal is worthless than what is the point of having them. In the western part of the United States sprint is really good and parts where they don't have signal sprint will either roam to vzw or other companies for free voice and data in their plans. Now their customer service really I have never had an issue and been with them for 10 years and I have seen them improved over the years. I have heard horror stories from all companies including sprint for me is the quality of service and prices since I will hardly call customer service. One thing for sure is ATT and VZW they will try to nickel and dime you for anything thats what i don't like about them they are way overpriced but at least of the 2 VZW at least has good quality voice signal and 3g network.

I choose sprint because it delivers what vzw delivers in my area and where i travel too so for me whats the point of paying for instance $30 more a month? I am not poor but neither rich and saving $30 a month is something anyone will try to do. Now if I was to find myself in another area with no sprint signal then my needs would change. I don't really care about any company cause at the end is not like i own stock or are a owner of any I just pick who has the best plans and better service and more to offer.

HTC Touch Pro2 graces Verizon on September 11 {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 5th 2009 1:03AM @ir1 maybe if you do some research yourself and see who i was responding you see that i was responding to the basic plan for 39.99 and yes if you select that plan and want text the max is 5,000 text, pic, and video for $20 dollars. Why is that option there when you can get the $59.99 with unlimited text, pic, and video is because thats the way vzw would try to rip you off instead of having a tool advising people they should get the 59.00 for just 1 penny less. Instead they leave that option for somebody that is not aware of that.

Now to service?? yes vzw has really better voice coverage. When you say sprint is terrible i imagine something like att 3g network thats terrible. Sprint is up par with its 3g network with vzw and even more dependable than vzw. Have you done some research and seen pc world results?? I don't know where you live maybe there sprint may not be as good but in the areas where sprint and vzw have good signal why would somebody want to pay more for less?? unless you-re stupid or rich and don't give a F#$K.

Everywhere i been mostly on the west region CA, live in AZ, TX, NM, etc i get good voice signal and in the areas where there is no sprint signal i get free voice/data roaming. Why would i want to pay more money just so i can get to say vzw is better in other parts of the united states.

HTC Touch Pro2 graces Verizon on September 11 {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 4th 2009 10:41PM @jide sprint is $69.99 for 450 minutes unlimited night and weekends at 7:00pm unlimited everything else.

VZW 39.99 for 450 minutes 29.99 for unlimited data use plus $20 dollars for not even unlimited txt is only 5,000 txt,pic, and video plus $9.99 for gps navigation plus I don't even think vzw offers unlimited night and weekends at 7:00pm it didn't give that option in their website.

Total with vzw is 39.99 plus 29.99 plus 20 plus 9.99 for the navigation is $99.97 a month which in sprint it would be $69.99 but you will get unlimited night and weekend minutes at 7.00pm and unlimited text,picture, vide not only 5,000. Thats a total savins of $29.98 a month in two months is 59.96 thats why i had said you will make it up in two months when i taught vzw phone was for 300 after the rebate.

Total cost for sprint is $350 for device plus $69.99 for 2 years is $2029.76. VZW is 199.99 for device plus $99.97 for years is $2599.27 and like I said thats with only 5,000 txt, video, and pic and only night and weekend minutes with verizon at 9:00pm not at 7:00 like with sprint so yeah which is cheaper in the long run? $569.51 more for vzw for less stuff is seriously ridiculous.
