O2 to announce 3G iPhone in "the coming weeks" {Engadget}
May 14th 2008 12:54PM "Please remove dents ASAP. This is my first warning of 3, and I hope others will follow."
Are you seriously issuing an ultimatum?! Pfft, and what, when you reach the third warning a bomb goes off somewhere and the internet stops working? Good riddance, perhaps you'll manage to destroy yourself and your Orwellian ideals while you're at it.
Nobody is forcing you to read the comments, so don't read them. Engadget used to heavily censor the comments, but as it has matured they've adopted a much more hands-off approach, and I think everything has gotten much more... entertaining since.

Alienware's Aurora desktop storms back: AMD Phenom 9850 included {Engadget}
Apr 15th 2008 2:56PM Except alienware and other boutique PC makers like Falcon Northwest have been doing it better and even more cleanly for a long-ass time now?
Not sure whether the comparison is even poignant. Why does everything always need to be compared to apple's equivalent product?
Oh, I see, alienware copied apple. /facepalm I see what you did there!
Video: Eee PC 900 processor is NOT Atom, multi-touch trackpad demonstrated {Engadget}
Apr 15th 2008 1:45AM I agree, after that story about Atom performance earlier today, putting one in the EEE might not be the best of ideas until the platform matures a little.
Honestly, a Pentium/Celeron-M 800 Mhz is a bit under modern standards, but keep in mind that this thing is clock-per-clock faster than the P4 northwood of the time back in XP days. Honestly I think 800 MHz of Celeron M will perform basic tasks in XP quite acceptably.
