Nov 14th 2009 6:24PM It is not in Apple's best interest to sell OS X as a standalone product. They use their software sell hardware. Selling OS X for PCs would cause them to lose some hardware sales. Even if selling OS X as a standalone only lost them one hardware sale for every 20 new OS sales, it would probably still reduce their profits.

Nov 5th 2009 10:17PM If you have an iPod touch or an iPhone, you can get any one of several wireless trackpad apps on the app store. Some even have multi-touch support.

There are a bunch of others, just search for "trackpad" in the App Store

Oct 13th 2009 8:21PM @danny: Yes, that's a good point. It will probably have settings for 12,800, 25,600, 51,200 and 102,400. Even if 102,400 is terrible, there's still a good chance that some of those lower settings could be ok.

I think you mean incredible? Anyway, if you can get even remotely usable shots at 102,400 I will be pretty impressed. My Canon tops out at 12,800 and that's pretty much unusable.
