New iPod touch rumors go against the grain of "holiday lineup is set" {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Nov 11th 2009 4:45PM If it's true, let's hope it's a kick ass camera! Blow the flip cams out of the water please? I know, wishful thinking...

Apple pitching "all you can watch for $30 a month" TV to networks {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Nov 2nd 2009 6:48PM I see no reason for this to not be pushed to the Apple TV. You can already purchase and rent from the iTunes store on the Apple TV. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to pull the same data down with the ATV that you do on the computer with iTunes.

I am pretty certain if this does happen, it will be pushed and available to the Apple TV.

I think this will be great if Apple can pull it off for $30 a month. I love the idea of being able to watch what I want to watch, when I want to watch it. Paying for cable and satellite is costly, it's even more costly when I only watch a handful of shows. Being able to choose what I want is fantastic! I hope it works out.

The cable providers are definitely going to piss down their legs about it, that's for sure. Badweasel made a good point about what this might mean for the networks. I think this could be a good change, maybe it'll make providers lower their prices. Only time will tell.

iPhone OS 3.1.2 is out {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Oct 8th 2009 2:19PM Wow.. some people ignorance. This is a firmware update for the iPhone and iPod Touch! This does not update iTunes or have anything to do with the pre syncing, morons. I am glad some of you took the time to actually read what the article is about. Apple would have to update iTunes in order to block the pre out of syncing with iTunes. Not update the phone software.

*facepalm*

Bioshock for Mac on October 7th {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Sep 25th 2009 2:30AM Just in time for Bioshock 2. I doubt we'll see bioshock 2 for another 5 years. I sure do wish they would release an update to Soldier of Fortune 2. I know it's never going to happen, but I can dream.

This is very very frustrating. I wish more companies followed the path of Blizzard. They make fantastic games and they release them on multiple platforms. Take WoW for example. It's on PC and Mac! The install discs have the same version for each operating system. There should be no reason for developers to not release mac binaries.

Yeah, I know. PC / Windows gaming market dominates the Mac gaming market. Probably always will. Also, just saying that means the market will always be small because no one has the guts to release their games on the Mac platform. The games are guaranteed to sell, people want current games on the mac. There is no reason not to put them out there.

I think it hurts business more when they have third party companies porting over these games, because twice as many resources and twice as much manpower has to go back into the game to re-release it on another platform. You would think they would cut costs if they'd just release it for both platforms, mac and pc. I mean hell, half of the new games now are out on most consoles, handhelds, and what not. The Mac is the only one that isn't getting any gaming love.

Gimme some sugar, baby: Army of Darkness sounds on the iPhone {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Sep 15th 2009 7:35PM Hhaha,

I was up late last night fiddling with this. I am a huge horror fan and as soon as I saw this app I had to download it. Definitely features some memorable lines from the movie. Good thing it's not a paid app though. The novelty will wear off quickly, still fun for a bit though.

Sep 15th 2009 12:28PM That's what I thought too. I thought they were going to show more than one device at the conference. I have been waiting on hearing more about the sholes.

First Look: TUAW gives iPhone OS 3.1 the hands-on treatment {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Sep 9th 2009 7:54PM I don't think it's a bug. I am pretty sure it was intentional. Does kind of suck being so low. I am sure people have complained about it being too high and "clicky".

iTunes 9: App Management {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

You do have to be updated to os 3.1 for it to work fully.
