The Boy Genius Report: BlackBerry Info Galore! {Engadget Mobile}
Aug 24th 2006 7:03PM When is BB gona release all this in one? Is it to much to ask to have wifi and a camera in one? I probly like many others havnt bought a Blackberry being it doesnt have a camera to catch all those random moments you want a picture of. This is one thing but wifi on your phone is like one of the biggest plus's out there so why cant i get them both outside one of them 800$ iMates or something. Put these 2 together and you'll have the hottest phone on the market period.
Verizon to offer "Home Media DVR" to FiOS customers {Engadget}
Aug 15th 2006 6:43PM Verizon blows. Its a shame that verizon is the one putting up fiber. I dont know how the verizon tv service is but if they had the market locked up like they do for relieable phone service around here youd be paying to do stuff youd do on a tv normally for free like they do on there phone service. Want a wallpaper? pay verizon. Want a game? pay verizon. Want to look at wallpapers or preview ringtones? pay verizon. Want to send pictures to your computer? pay verizon. Want to play music on there phones? pay verizon. So I'd imagine they would have you paying to change the channel or to turn on the tv.
Anyway what I wanted to say before i got carried away with my verizon rant was 160GB drive for a HD DVR thats only about 160 hours of SD so what is it 4x as much in HD or more? so thats 19.95$ a month for a 40 hour DVR. verizon can blow it out theyre a$$

TiVo Desktop 2.3 adds conversion tools, scheduled transfers {Engadget}
Jun 21st 2006 10:58PM What feature the tivo really needs is to be able to plug directly into the ipod and load shows via USB why do i need to go thru my computer? make it an option like record to VCR have a record to ipod? Would it be that difficult doesnt need to say ipod 'record to 3rd party digital media player' Is this already being done or is this possible?
TVs can kill, study says {Engadget}
Jun 21st 2006 10:36PM The 26 cases in the one town they all probly bought the same chinese tv stand at the local discount store these things are made with low grade fiber board when fiberboard is low grade to begin with, and are stuck together with those chinsey little metal pins that tear thru the fiberboard at any significant amount of force applied. They are very dangerous and would suggust not to buy furniture of any sort built of fiberboard.

Jun 14th 2006 7:29PM They had something very similar already to this at this one foodstore located at pathmart around the levitown area long island. There was a large touch screen which you would choose a movie and it would pop out of the slot after payment not sure if they were burned on spot but it was the first and only time i've seen anything like it.
