Palm Foleo: the exclusive first and final hands-on {Engadget}

Dec 28th 2007 12:01AM Thanks for helping stifle capitalism, Commies.

Another version of the HTC Neon gets in the mix {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 19th 2007 3:20PM Why am I thoroughly unimpressed by all of HTC's offerings? Maybe it's because I hate slider phones, especially the side-sliders. Maybe it's because the Touch is a "wannabe" device that's sounded better on paper than in practice. But, most likely, it's because their devices are powered/hindered by Windows Mobile. Here's to hoping Android makes their products more interesting.

Palm laying off employees? {Engadget}

Dec 12th 2007 7:45PM Everyone will typically blame Palm themselves for their financial woes. That's easy. I put part of the blame on the wireless network providers like Verizon. If not for the carrier's insistence to regulate the equipment on their networks, Palm would be more free to market devices to the consumer as opposed to what Verizon suits think the consumer wants. How can you innovate when you have to please the carriers needs first, and not the consumers?

iPhone a shoo-in for TIME's Person of the Year? {Engadget}

Dec 12th 2007 5:45PM @superfresh

It is not that I didn't get the joke. It's that I'm tired of the gratuitous coverage of the iPhone, even if it comes in the satirical form. Was there a reason for a blog post for the iPhone today? Not really. But let's plug the iPhone through a "funny story." If anything, I wish the tech media would spend more time ripping the iPhone for what it doesnt have than praising for it for what it does have (or making fun of the awards and accolades that have been bestowed upon it). Not until then will we get what all of us really want: a less restricted device with the iPhone UI.

iPhone a shoo-in for TIME's Person of the Year? {Engadget}

Dec 12th 2007 3:34PM I'm nominating the iPhone for "Asswhip of the Year." And I own one.

It's a nice device, but not THAT nice.

Dear Media,

Cool it.

Sincerely,

Philippe Starck calls the Kindle "a little sad" {Engadget}

Dec 12th 2007 2:54PM I'm right there with you. I think the Kindle's design blows, but it's hard to take it from a homeless guy in old motorcycle jacket with shoulder pads. What is this, the 80s?

Palm's unnamed device: the Treo 755p for Verizon? {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 10th 2007 5:41PM The Blackberries are hardly alternatives. There are not the same 3rd party applications as there are for Palm OS. For example, from time to time, I'll watch NFL games on my Treo via the Slingbox. I'll admit, I've started to look into a Blackberry, but only if it has a full QWERTY. But none have captured my attention enough to draw me away from Palm OS.

Dec 10th 2007 3:53PM It is the best device on Verizon if you don't want a device with Windows Mobile 6...

Palm's unnamed device: the Treo 755p for Verizon? {Engadget}

Dec 10th 2007 3:46PM With regards to the Centro, I was interested in it until I tried to use it and found the QWERTY to be uesless for my hands. It's great for a woman, child, or a man with small hands....no offense.....
