Jul 28th 2006 11:55AM Why the crack on Alltel? Lame. I switched over from Verizon about 6 months ago and am digging it.
I wish Alltel did get more phones, sooner -- I guess the economics make more sense for Moto to push them to the big boys first...which sucks because that only gives Verizon more leverage to screw its consumers..
Lincoln MKX looking for friends on MySpace {Autoblog}
Jun 1st 2006 6:35PM I think you all would be suprised who uses MySpace. I'm always on the go and its a great way to keep up with my friends and keep track of social outings and events. As for the Lincoln MKX, I think its a really cute idea. A cool example of a company bringing a car to life...I'm so tired of the boring Japanese cars, for once, Lincoln makes a car with an attitude.
I don't understand why people here are dogging on MySpace so much...I bet half of you single men (and married) on here spend more time than you'd like to admit browsing for "friends" and checking out profiles...

Apr 17th 2006 2:56PM MikeG -- I disagree. What about the folks who drive a Navigator -- I'd bet the farm, they'd say the drive a Navigator, not a Lincoln Navigator, especially not a Lincoln.
On the translation tip, funniest example has to be the Buick Lacrosse in Canada. They had to use the name Allure as Lacrosse is slang for masterbation up north...hilarious.

MK pulls from the Mark heritage...at least thats what I gleanded at the NAIAS...

Mar 18th 2006 4:05PM This review is a fairly obvious / blatant example at why non-auto experts probably shouldn't draft auto reviews.
It's a flipping C/D car. Any mother that would place 3+ kids in a vehicle of that size is anything but modern--more like ignorant.
I know I am the 3rd person to comment on this same issue, but seriously.
Bash Mercury, Lincoln, and all of Ford Motor Company for appropriate reasons...there are several.
But bashing a C/D car for not carrying enough kids...are you serious?
Maybe for her next review..."How I lost a pink slip race in my 06 Honda Odyssey".
