Nov 12th 2009 7:13PM Blackberry needs to give up this Surepress garbage and just make something more akin to the Palm Pixi's form factor. Give it a great Blackberry keyboard, and just make the regular screen at the top into a touch screen for easier navigation. I have no idea why RIM seems to think that hardware keyboards and touchscreens cannot coexist on the same device.

Nov 11th 2009 5:03PM I have absolutely no interest in a tablet device that doesn't have proper stylus support. Do these companies even know what tablets are useful for? An iPod Touch that won't fit in your pocket isn't exactly a desirable product these days.

Nov 11th 2009 3:13PM I absolutely hate it when portable devices have internal speakers. I'm really uptight about never allowing my devices to make sound in public, and I really wish that I could just take my smartphone apart and cut the internal speaker out of it, since there are very close to zero occasions when I would actually want it to start playing music or sounds without headphones plugged in. Or at least, I wish there was a universal setting to disable the internal speaker completely, I hate it when I turn up the volume for headphones and then I forget to turn it back down and I accidentally play the music from some game out loud. I always play portable games with the sound off.

Nov 11th 2009 3:07PM I'm sure that comparison videos will be made once there is a game released on both platforms. Right now it wouldn't do much good to compare because there aren't any cross-platform games. You can see from the video that the graphics are very good.

Nov 11th 2009 9:48AM If it makes you feel any better about the situation, you'd be posting the exact opposite of this if Apple had been first to market with Blu-ray drives in laptops. Don't worry, Steve Jobs will let you know when it's okay to care about Blu-ray.

Nov 11th 2009 9:47AM Does anybody understand why Blu-ray playback absolutely requires OS level support? I'm a software developer and although I've never looked into this issue specifically, I have absolutely no idea why somebody couldn't just write a driver or a piece of Mac software that handles the media playback.
